Photoshop

I am currently training to work as an IT Trainer at BYU and on Monday I took day one of the Photoshop class. I learned a lot!, and I've had fun playing around with it. Here are a few of the pictures I've done.

Here's a picture of Candace and I after I ran the Saint George Marathon. Beneath is the photoshoped picture.


No old man's rear! Magic! And if you'll notice I had to create a sort of hill on the left to get rid of the other people.

The window box

1. A window box. I want to live in Europe in a little apartment with a window box. It is true that I have never been to Europe, but that is inconsequential. Imagine waking up in the morning, making a little bowl of oatmeal eating it next to your window box. You would of course be looking down on a quaint cobblestone street. Friendly pedestrians looking up and saying 'bonjour.' It is like the ideal life.

  This is of Prom last year. This was probably the best picture taken of me because it was right after I arrived at dinner. I became sweaty and my hair kinda fell out throughout the night. It was okay though how you look doesn't matter. (too much) I hate gettnig dressed up. Thanks so much Kanien for always saving my life and helping me to look stunning. ;)

Love at First Sight!

Greg Emailed this picture of me to me. We both think that it is pretty funny and he advised me to post it on my blog. This was in 2001 in Yellowstone. I was pretty small. As you can see It was love at first sight with me and the buffalo skull. I can still remember how silky smooth its bone was. Sniff, sniff. I miss the little buffalo. just kidding. I hope you enjoy. :) P.S. Make sure that you enlarge the picture so that you can see my great facial expressions. It isn't funny at all unless you can see them.

Triathlon

Right before school ended me and these three friends Ally, Loren and Natalie went on a massive bike ride, and when we got back we made a list of things that we were going to do this summer. One of them was do a triathlon. Then on Thursday Natalie brought a paper to track that advertised a summer triathlon. It only cost 10 dollars, which was way cheaper than any of the others we had seen. It was on base, but Natalie's dad works for the military, so we could do it. We had to swim 300 meters, Bike 12 miles, and run a 5k (3.2 miles). And that didn't sound too hard at all, so we decided to do it. Actually we were indesive about it until about 11:30 pm on Firday night, then we decided to just to it! It was pretty much the funnest thing I have ever done! This is us before the swimming part. This was the hardest for me because I haven't even been in a pool since spring break and I haven't actually swam laps since swimming lessons about 3 or 4 years ago.


But, I don't think 300 meters is that far, because somehow I did it. This is a picture of me finishing. It was a 50 meter pool so we had to do six laps. It was pretty fun. After that we didn't take any more pictures of us in the actual race, but we took pictures of us after, and before it.

This is a picture of us next to our bikes before the race. It was the most exhillerating thing I have ever done to jump out of the water, run to my bike and just hop on and start riding! It was so cool! At first the biking was so easy, but then we went up this super long hill, and that was hard!! The whole time up the hill I was just longing to get to the running part, because at the moment I thought it would be so much easier, but in reality, it wasn't. It was still pretty hard. It was hard because the entire run was in the sun. No shade at all! It was a joke! And it was so weird to hop off your bike, and just start running. Weirdest thing ever! My muscles just wouldn't move! It was a weird feeling. Then after we went to Jamba juice and got pick stars (the best flavor ever!) And after that we went to Great Harvest and they gave us free bread and a free loaf of bread, and a free jar of honey! It was so funny because they aren't supposed to even give out free bread, but for some reason they had the urge to give us lots of free stuff. It was so funny! I am convinced that the only reason that they gave us all of this free stuff is because we looked horrible!!!!! None of us had even taken off our swimsuits, or brushed our hair, or even put it in a new pony tail, or anything. It was the funnest thing I have ever done! We are going to do a real one at the end of the summer that will be super hard!! I am so excited!!

Cabin Woo hoo!

EFY

Since I have millions of pictures of EFY because you are shuned if you don't consantly ask your groupies, "Can I have a picture with you?" I decided to post some of them. I went to EFY at the Uof U!!!! Yeah!!! Go utes! It was so much fun there because it was a smaller session, and it was way more personal then the "school down south." (that now once again another one of my siblings is going to.) Well, anyway I had quite a lot of fun at EFY it was a blast! :) This is a picture of me and some of the girls in our group, and the boy counselor. His name was Matt and he was pretty funny. Once at lunch he told us the most depressing story ever! It was about this girl that he kept trying to date, but then she ended up engaged still promising to go on that one date with him, that somehow never seemed to work out.

ha ha. This is a picture of me being serenaded. My whole company was so musical! We had something like, 7 people perform in the talent show. It was unreal. Too bad the boys didn't really serenade me. I had to ask him to pose for this picture! ha ha I thought it was funny!

Oh man! This is pretty much my favorite picture! This is pizza night, and we all have powder from powdered doughnuts on our faces. It is awesome. :) we are jumping on the bed that is why it is so sweet! That is Molly next to me, and Danielle next to her. They are way cool!
This is me and a friend I made Stephine. We were kinda bored during the talent show, (during things not performed by our company,) so we took pictures of ourselves. I like this one because my left eye is red, only my left eye. It is sweet!
This is me and Mindy! Mindy is pretty much the coolest person I have ever met! She is so awesome!! In our cheer she taught me the "S" move. That is a dance move that Mindy made up and it is imcredible! How you do it is First: you visulise an outline of an "S" in front of your body. Then you clap your hands above your head and leave them there belly dancer style. Lastly you let your body freely follow the outline of the "S." It is pretty insane! I love it! Mindy kept grabbing me at the dance and she would say, "S move!" and we would just start doing it. If you would like me to show you how to do it I will teach you, because it is rad!
This is me and Taylee holding our awards that we got! Out if a billion companies our company pretty much won two awards!!! The over all award for having the most points, and being the coolest award, and the UNITY award! The unity award is pretty much the most desired award at EFY and we won it. It was so exciting! You don't even know! haha I don't really know why a snowman and a glove for our award. I think that the BC's just wanted to be funny. This is me and Mindy again because she got 2nd place in the poetry contest, and 1st place in the art contest, and I think that is SWEET!!!
